Bart always knew he wanted to do hair since he was seven; either fixing the hair on a Barbie doll or one of his mother's wigs. His passion? "Color, Color, Color." Bart has been certified and has taught hair coloring for numerous hair coloring manufacturers including: Clairol, Logics, Goldwell, Davines, Eugine Perma, Scruples, and Redken 5th Avenue. A former board member of the International Hair Color Exchange, he has worked with some of the industry's top hair colorists. "Choosing a color and the highlights that define it is the hardest thing to do, but they make the most difference. The right color has to be matched to your own individual skin tones, and then it can really add to the look of the haircut. Cutting hair is about being totally aware of how hair grows out of the scalp. You have to allow for the give, the natural movement of the hair. I like to spend time teaching clients how to blow dry their hair. It's important. I won't be there tomorrow and I want you to be able to recreate and feel good about your look.”
